    • What is Missions Ablaze?

      Missions Ablaze is a faith-led mission station based in Tongaat, KwaZulu-Natal. Since 1995, we’ve been feeding the hungry, clothing the poor, and offering disaster relief and spiritual support to communities in need.

    • Is Missions Ablaze a registered organisation?

      Yes. We are a registered Non-Profit Organisation (NPO), Public Benefit Organisation (PBO), and Trust. We operate with full financial transparency and oversight from a Board of Trustees.

    • Who oversees the work of Missions Ablaze?

      The ministry is led by founders Tinus Lindeque, under the guidance of a Board of Trustees made up of 7 South African members.

    • How is Missions Ablaze funded?

      Our work is funded entirely through donations from individuals, churches, and organisations, both locally and internationally. All donations are tracked, and our financial records are available on request.

    • What does your logo represent?

      Our logo—an eagle rising in front of the cross and the world—was revealed during a time of prayer. It symbolises our calling to rise up in faith and serve globally, with purpose and compassion.

    • How many people work at Missions Ablaze?

      We typically have between 15 and 30 full-time missionaries living and serving on-site. All of them volunteer their time without financial compensation.

    • How did Missions Ablaze begin?

      We started in 1995 with the support of Christian Renewal Church in Georgia, USA, who brought 50 volunteers to help feed and clothe those in need in Durban. That partnership continues to this day.

    • Can I visit or volunteer at the mission station?

      Yes. We welcome visitors, volunteers, and groups who want to see the work firsthand or get involved. Please contact us to arrange a visit.

    • How do I know my donation is used responsibly?

      We are committed to transparency. Donations are never registered to individuals, and our annual financial reports are available upon request. Every donor receives written acknowledgement.

    • Does Missions Ablaze offer volunteer opportunities for Mandela Day?

      Yes! Every year, we welcome individuals, schools, churches, and corporate teams to take part in meaningful Mandela Day activities—from packing meals and running food or blanket drives to volunteering on-site. Learn more about Mandela Day at Missions Ablaze here.
