Volunteer On-Site
Help pack and distribute food parcels, sort clothing and supplies, and support activities at our community outreach hub.
Join Missions Ablaze this Mandela Day—or any time of the year—for hands-on volunteering, meaningful donations, and life-changing impact in the communities we serve.
We’re more than a charity—we’re a mission. Based in Tongaat, KwaZulu-Natal, we’ve been supporting families, feeding children, and responding to crises since 1995. All our work is powered by volunteers, faith, and the generosity of people like you.
As a Non-Profit Organisation (NPO) and Public Benefit Organisation (PBO), your support is used responsibly, transparently, and with purpose.
There’s more than one way to make an impact. Whether you’re giving 67 minutes of your time, donating essential items, or sponsoring an outreach initiative, you’re helping bring real hope to communities who need it most.
Your involvement—big or small—can feed a family, clothe a child, or provide urgent care to someone facing crisis. Here are a few ways to get involved:
Help pack and distribute food parcels, sort clothing and supplies, and support activities at our community outreach hub.
Collect blankets, non-perishable food, or hygiene items, create care packs with your staff or customers, and set up a Mandela Day donation station in your workplace.
Not able to visit in person? Give an amount in honour of your 67 minutes—or rally your team to match your contribution.
At Missions Ablaze, Mandela Day isn’t just symbolic—it’s an opportunity to meet real needs in real communities. Whether you donate food, give your time, or rally your team, your contribution helps us reach children, families, and disaster-affected areas with practical, faith-led support.
Every blanket, every meal pack, every hygiene kit—it all matters.
Where Your Support Goes:
Your 67 minutes can spark lasting change—far beyond one day.
Supporting Missions Ablaze fits naturally into your CSR or B-BBEE goals.
